Seriously!?! January!?!

28 11 2007

One more week of Heroes left before the big break and/or the end of the season……………It was a really good episode once again I can’t wait to see what they do to wrap things up. I’m really hoping for a huge Kensai/Hiro face off/battle~!

Journeyman also continues to get better and better every week. I’m not sure how many more episodes JM has finished but they won’t be back on for two weeks, so no new Journeyman next week……………..

House was really fantastic! At the end of the day House fired Amber aka “Cut Throat Bitch”, and “13″ and hired Taubs, and Kutler in spite of Cutty. At the end of the day he was also able to hire “13″ and get his way in having a four person team instead of a three person team. House won’t be back with new shows until JANUARY! BULLSHIT!

Dole Out The Thanks

23 11 2007

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I know we did. Wednesday was actually the start of it for Jenny. She really worked hard and she did a FANTASTIC job! We alternate Thanksgiving, one year at our home for us and my parents, one years at Jen’s parents, and one year at my parents.

Anyway. Jen made two pies on Wed. and started some work of a few other things. Thursday morning was filled with the best smells one could imagine. It’s the thing I actually love the most about Thanksgiving. That smell of turkey and pies in the morning, don’t know why, but that’s my favorite part.

Kayla and I watched the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC.

Then my Dad stopped by and dropped of a couple of things and took Kayla back over to their place for a few hours while we finished everything up for dinner. We both went down to the store to pick up a few last minute things. Then it was dinner time! Jenny really out did herself it was really great! In some ways I wish we could do it like that every year and in some ways, not so much.

The countdown to Christmas is on! The tree is probably going up this weekend~!

The Next Week In TV

21 11 2007

Monday – Heroes continues to bring the goods. Last week was a bit of a slow-go but it picked right back up this week. West and HRG teaming up managed to make West look bad ass, and the closure stuff between Hiro and his father were really great. Next weeks episode looks even better! The shot with Hiro holding his sword to Peters throat was the hook for next week.

Journeyman continues to improve and I’m still shocked there isn’t more buzz about it. I think the storyline is playing out so well. It’s to far in to try and spell it all out you should just go watch it.

Tuesday – House pushes onwards with it’s bad ass-ery. The Cuddy thong story and House Survivior is making this the best season (maybe) of the series.

Yeah, nothing happened since last week. Sad huh?

The Week In TV

14 11 2007

Oh yeah I know it’s only Wednesday, but  my TV watching for the week is already done.  I guess only watching three TV shows on a regular basis  helps, and that all of those shows take place on Monday and Tuesday.

Heroes was pretty good this week. I didn’t dig as much as in previous episodes, only becuase this was more of an “explanation” episode and I prefer my stuff to be more of a “progress with the storyline” type of episode. It was cool to see some of things happen although ultimately I think it would have been more then possible to just flash back to those things as none of them (I thought) were very major. Still, a pretty good episode. Next week looks much better.

Journeyman  was really good once again. I have to do some searching around the net to see if there is some sort of opinion of this show. Jen and I are pretty locked into it now. I suggest you check it out. It’s on right after Heroes.

House brought the awesomeness once again. This is turning into one of the best, if not the best season of House thus far.

On the home front I think I’m starting to get sick. Jen and Kayla have both had something and are now getting over it. She missed school on Monday but went back yesterday.

Nothing But Blue Skies

11 11 2007

And that’s a wrap on this weekend. Here’s the run down.

Jen had to work a double shift on Friday. That left me with the munchkin.  So I decided to go out with Mom and Dad. They usually take Kayla out to eat, then over to Meijers to get some groceries, but we had some spare cash laying around. They told me not to worry about pa so that worked out well. Instead I use the remaining cash to buy Kayla the “Whac-A-Mole Tower” from Amazon.com. Mom and Dad showed up and took us out to Pizza Hut~!

Saturday was a whole lot of not much. We kind of just hung around. Jen made some awesome burgers for dinner and we watched a couple of flicks.Today we went to church with Jen’s parents. Went back there for some good lunchings and headed back home. Cardinals are crushing the Lions right now. They are still trying to keep hope alive that they could still blow the season, bless you guys!
