The Big FIVE TWO!

29 12 2007

Happy birthday to my Dad! Without him…..well I wouldn’t be here to type “happy birthday”.

We’ve pretty much went through the all of the movies I got for Xmas. 99% of them we have seen before, and it was just cool to watch them again. Jen and I had never seen The Bourne Ultimatum before though.

We have seen (and own) the first two movies “Identity” and “Supremacy”. We really loved those two, and went in blindly in asking for the third one. We weren’t let down, that’s for sure. It was really, really awesome. In fact I think it might be the best of the three films. Paul Greengrass really did something pretty original in how he related the 2nd and 3rd films together. I’m so glad we’ve got it!

Outside of this, not a whole lot is going on. Jen is starting college soon pursuing a degree  in Human Services Management. It looks like I might be going as well looking for a degree in Information Technology, however I haven’t totally mademy mind up, and I’m holding out for some chance of still getting into to media production.

Kayla starts school again on the 3rd, and on the 4th I head back down to Ann Arbor to set up my reconstructive foot surgery.

Merry Yesterday

27 12 2007

Christmas eve was fun. We went to church with Jen’s parents, afterwards we ate some good eats Sub Way style~! Then we opened gifts. Jen’s parents got me some new jammy pants and a nice new pair of jeans and a nice new shirt. Jen and Kayla also got an ass ton of gifts.

Christmas morning here was lots of fun. Kayla loved everything we got for her and has been busy playing ever since. We went over to my parents for some more good eats and we watched Frosty The Snowman! Mom and Dad got me a retro vintage Tigers hat and a bunch of DVD’s. Kayla and Jen proceeded to get an ass ton more gifts and candy.

Today was really spent cleaning things up, to which things almost entirely are but not quite just yet.

Honestly I’m lucky to have the strength to write what I’ve written. I’m off to relax some and watch some new movies. BON VOYAGE~!

So Until Then

23 12 2007

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. This is the final day before business ensues. We are probably going to wrap up everyone’s gifts tonight. Tomorrow we are going to Jen’s parents church for their Xmas service. It’s always really nice, after that is dinner at their place then presents.

Come home go to bed then get up and let Kayla open her presents here Christmas morning.  Then we’ll go over to my parents for dinner and more presents.

Chances are I won’t be online much between now and then  so in case I’m not, I’m throwing out the happy holiday wishes right now. Everyone have a good one.

More to follow on Wednesday!

Kids really do say the darnedest things. This all that needs to be said about yesterday.

I Stand Corrected

17 12 2007

So my Birthday wasn’t entirely uneventful. I got SICK! Chalk that up as a lesson to everyone out there, never say anything about anything EVER!

Jen has been doing her usual holiday baking. Christmas cookies, various other forms of cookies, and banana bread. All of that she is doing just for the people she works with, and act that probably way to nice for a lot of those people but Jenny is good people, and hey it’s the holidays is it not?

I’ve been trying to catch up on all the wrestling I’ve recently come in to. In the last two days I watched all three nights on PWG’s Battle Of Los Angeles Tournament.

A really great three show set. As always though the tournament finals (which featured  El Generico vs. Roderick Strong vs. CIMA) fell kind of flat. Usually this because the rest of the card is so great. I thought Alex Shelly vs. Matt Sydal on Night Three was the best match of that particular weekend.  All around a great set of shows and worth the buy. You can buy each night separately for $14.95 or you can save a little cash and by all three together for $34.95 from the PWG Website.

Next up I have no less then FIVE Chikara shows to watch, and two more Ring Of Honor shows.

So…..My Birthday Is Tomorrow

14 12 2007

I’m writing this now because I know nothing will happen tomorrow. Apparently 26 is the year where you no longer observe your birthday as something special. It’s just gonna be another day.

However it does mark the official 10 day count down to Christmas.

MOSTBORINGESTEVER!
