20 Smiley Faces!

So Kayla’s behavior in school has not been the best lately. We asked her teacher to send home a progress report. This report consists of the 10 sections her day at Kindergarten. If she did good she gets a smiley face, if not then we get a note about what her problem was. Well until this week she was getting 8/10, 7/10 and one bad day where she had 5/10. Well on Monday, and yesterday she got all 10 smiley faces and we couldn’t be more proud!

Monday had a pretty decent Heroes episode.

It’s a two parter, and Heroes is usually a cliff hanger based show as it is, so we have a cliff hanger within a cliff hanger. It was a pretty decent episode allthough I wasn’t super in to it until the end. Maybe all of the twisting is finally taking a toll? Maybe I was just tire that night? Who knows?

House last night was excellent!

I was expecting an over the top episode, where things are kind of goofy but I was way off. Even though I enjoy the wacky episodes, they are lower on the list of favorite episodes. This ended up being a very good episode, and something new as it was defintely a different way of doing a House episode that was familiar but not so formulaic.

Oh also a “new” Star Trek Trailer has cropped up. Actually it’s the same trailer with a new ending, but the ending totally makes it worth watching over again!

THANKSGIVING TOMORROW

Yeah….I’m Jumping On

That’s right! I am jumping on the Tropic Thunder Bandwagon!

I guess I was just get of “ho-hum” about the movie, but when I got a chance to check it our for free I usually don’t pass that sort of thing up. The movie was hilarious from start to finish. And not only did I tolerate Tom Cruise in this movie I actually loved him. The movies is now on the “to buy list”.

Heroes on Monday was also quite good.

I will freely admit that I’m kind of uncertain where they are going for the first in their three year run. A lot of things came together, but a lot of things were kind of confusing. I am willing to tough it out though and see if they can make up for the confusion by tiying it all together.

House was very good……..

It was kind of a patient oriented show and a little less about the characters this time around, it’s been a while since I’ve seen a show like that. It was defintely good just not as good as the other episodes so far this season. The next episode looks to be on of the “crazy House” episodes where something on the wrong side of unbelieveable happens, those shows are usually really good though.

Oh yeah……….the new Star Trek trailer finally came out…………….AND IT IS EPIC!

Tigers and Royals kick off the 2008 season in just a few minutes. Jen and I are grilling up some brats and we’re gonna have a great time watching what will hopefully be a win to start off what I hope will be the year of the TIGER~!

Input Failure

So I went to the doctors on the 18th. We are definitely doing the surgery. I’m going to be off my feet for a couple weeks, and I won’t be back to myself for upwards of eight weeks. The surgery will be sometime in June. We haven’t picked a date yet.

The Epic show was on the 22nd. For me, the end result was a lot mixed emotions. Everyone worked hard. There were even a couple of great matches. The over all feeling wasn’t there for me though. The coheasiveness and teamwork wasn’t quite there. I really want this to be a place where we are friends, problems can get resolved and so forth. If someone isn’t “ready” yet then offer them some advice, help them out, constructive criticism. If your here to look out for yourself then your in the wrong place. I’ve already written at great length for my disdain of the wrestling business in general and how my ideas and it’s do not mix. If people want to be selfish, look out for themselves, and tear down others and build up themselves then there just isn’t a place for that kind of attitude here. You’ll fit in great elsewhere though. It’s just not the atmosphere I’m looking for. If it’s not bothering us, then it shouldn’t be bothering you. Obviously we want to make things better, but just saying someone did a shit job doesn’t fix anything, nor help. I hope people will keep that in mind in the future.

Jen and I watched it on one of the many pay channels we have currently. I don’t remember which. But it was a really awesome movie. Highly suggested. I am eagerly awaiting my next set of Netflix movies as well. And the days are counting down to season one of NIGHT COURT~!
